The Epworth LGBTQI+ Group provides support and resources to LGBTQI+ youth through education and experience sharing.

Epworth LGBTQI+ Group provides a safe, non-judgmental space where youth who identify as LGBTQI+ and Allies come together to learn, grow, gain self-confidence, build community, and receive critical support on their life’s journey. The group is open to youth ages 14 through 20 who currently participate in Epworth programming and meets on a monthly basis. Facilitated by highly trained Epworth team members, the group explores issues related to gender identity and expression and takes part in presentations and conversations led by LGBTQI+ educators and health experts. Generous support and resources to sustain the group are provided by local businesses, churches, and individual benefactors.

Homeless LGBTQI+ youth have a significantly higher chance of experiencing substance abuse issues and sexual abuse.

Epworth LGBTQI+ Group is held on the first Thursday of each month from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, currently online via the Zoom platform.
