Intrada, located in south St. Louis City, is an intergenerational permanent supportive housing program for young adults who have aged out of foster care.

Intrada provides low cost housing, case management support, emergency funds to clients and uses an intentional neighboring strategy to build community. The purpose of this community is to reduce the risk of homelessness, poverty, incarceration, and poor physical and mental health outcomes for youth who have aged out of foster care. Intrada also has indoor and outdoor community spaces for group activities where Epworth hosts events that are open to all residents. Events include cooking/nutrition classes, financial education, well-being classes, barbecues, game nights, and more.

An on-site Master’s level Program Coordinator provides case management support to clients and administers emergency funds to support them in achieving their goals and connect them to community resources.

Intrada provides the opportunity for young people to develop strong and healthy social supports through a natural community setting and a strong foundation for as they transition into adulthood.
