The ARISE Council is dedicated to making Epworth a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.

The Advocates Realizing Racial Inclusivity and Social Equity (ARISE) Council exists to create a diverse, equitable, inclusive, culturally competent, and supportive agency in which all colleagues and clients – regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, socioeconomic status, physical ability, religion, national origin, political beliefs, or any other defining characteristic – are treated with respect, dignity, and fairness; afforded equal rights and protections; experienced a sense of safety and belonging; feel free to exercise their voice and share their viewpoints; and provided the opportunity to enhance their position in life, realize their unique potential, and contribute to Epworth’s mission and the overall good of the community.

Epworth seeks to hire talented, diverse individuals to demonstrate the skills and personal values that support Epworth's mission of care.

Epworth’s hiring is typically a 3-step process including a phone screening with one of Epworth’s Human Resources professionals, a panel or peer interview, and an interview with a position’s specific hiring manager.

Once applicants have begun interviewing for a position, Epworth’s goal is to fill that position within 30 days. Depending on the nature of the position itself and extenuating circumstances, this timeframe may vary.

All official offers to candidates and onboarding information will go through Epworth’s Human Resources professionals.

Resume Tips:

Does the paper match the person? Is your resume a true reflection of who you are and the position you’re applying for?

Be sure that your resume reflects what skills and experience you can bring to the agency!

Epworth’s goal to find out if our agency is the right fit for you, as much as you’d like to see if you’re the right fit for Epworth!
